Julio Alvarado, Owner of Revolution Autosport, honored as President of the Sequoia Region Porsche Club of America

At the end of 2012, Julio Alvarado, Owner of Revolution Autosport, was nominated and voted in as the Vice President of the Sequoia Region of the Porsche Club of America along side incoming president Roy Frye.  During 2013, Roy decided to step down from his role as president.  Roy's resignation left the top leadership position open and in need of filling prior to many important club events that were still scheduled for the remaining months of 2013. 

Even though Julio was extremely busy as Owner Operator of his business, as well as his vice presidential duties, he decided to take on the role of president for the remainder of 2013.  The Board of Directors voted and approved Julio as the new President.  Julio says that he is "honored to be the new president" and would like to continue many of the new ideas that Roy Frye had brought to the club.  He also intends to introduce more Porsche Owners to the club and to focus on getting more members involved in the many fun Porsche Club events at the regional level as well as within Zone 7.  "The Porsche Club offers something for everyone, from social gatherings to high-speed driving events at world-class race tracks.  It's all about great cars, great people and great times!"
